iHelp Day of service in Central park
It's iHelp time again! We will join U of I students and alumni in a national day of community service by doing some gardening in Central Park.
We are proud to participate in the 2018 iHelp, a day of community service when both students and alumni volunteer in the name of our Alma Mater. This is our Fourth Annual iHelp in NYC and we will once again be doing a gardening project in Central Park on September 29th for the Central Park Conservancy! The CPC is a not-for-profit company, formed in 1980, that is contracted by the City of New York to manage the Park and to raise funds to maintain the Park through membership and donations. The funds raised by the CPC make up 75% of the Park's annual operating budget! Read more about the CPC here.
Here are the details:
Date: Saturday, September 29th
Time: 10:00am - 1:00pm

(Enter the Park via the steps at Strangers Gate, 106th Street and Central Park West, right across the street from this really cool building! Scroll down for map.)
