The Illinois Varsity Mens Glee Club, Men of the Oratorio Society, and the men of the UI Chamber Singers will all be on stage together in a performance at iconic Carnegie Hall with the Orchestre symphonique de Montreal (Montreal Symphony Orchestra).  They will perform Shostakovich's Thirteenth Symphony, also known as the "Babi Yar" because it was inspired by a 1961 poem by Yevgeny Yevtushenko of the same name.

Even if you can't make the concert, please consider joining us for a pre-concert reception for New York area alumni, hosted by the College of Fine and Applied Arts, the University of Illinois Alumni Association, and the Metro New York Illini Club.  Registration is free and includes a buffet, a drink ticket, a chance to engage with Illinois alumni and friends and a preshow reception just across the street from Carnegie Hall.
